Academy of Science for Kids (ASK) and/or any of its international partners, subsidiaries or associated companies (“Academy of Science for Kids” or “we” or “us”) take our relationship with all our users seriously, and this includes how we handle the data you give us.

Academy of Science for Kids is committed to meeting the requirements of all relevant laws and codes including the Data Protection Act 1998 and is registered with the Information Commission under registration no Z6162114 as a Data Controller. 1. When do we collect personal information?
Most of our Website is free for you to browse through and read. There are a few occasions when we ask you to fill in a form and give us some information about yourself. We only ask for your personal information for the following reasons:

• If you want to create or update your personal profile;
• If you want to take part in a prize draw or competition;
• If you want to contact us, send us an email or offer feedback; or
• If you want to receive news and exclusive offers via email.

We only collect personal information (such as your name and address details) if you choose to provide that information to us in response to our request.

What if I am under 15?
If you are a child under 15 and want to create a personal profile, we ask that you have a parent or guardian create a ASK Family Account. By this we mean that a parent or guardian can register on your behalf using their details. We ask this so that as a child, your personal details are protected, and also to ensure that you have parental consent to take part. Academy of Science for Kids does not ask a person under 15 for more personal information as a condition of participation than is necessary for a given promotion.

What if I am under 12?
We cannot accept requests from children under12 to join our mailing list via our automated system. If you are a child under12 and want to join our mailing list, please ask your parent or guardian to contact us at info@academyofscienceforkids.com and we will make arrangements to manually add you to our mailing list.

2. What do we do with the information?
Providing personal information is up to you. We collect personal information to enter you in contests and notify you of results, to e-mail you with updates, news and special offers, to respond to your questions or comments, or to register you for certain features on the Website.

Academy of Science for Kids (and those people or companies employed by Academy of Science for Kids who help make this Website, its content and its services) will process and use your personal information in order to respond to your feedback - like responding to problems, improving our services and gearing what we do to suit your requirements further.

3. Asking your permission
If you register on the Website or make a purchase, we may also contact you via e-mail with further information or updates concerning our products. We don't want to bombard your inbox, so the most number of updates we will send you is one a week - but normally it is only one every fortnight or less.

Refund Policy
A full refund will only be available if the package has been unopened and has not been used and or damaged in anyway.

Product Return Policy
The Academy of Science for Kids purchases may be returned within 30 days of sale transaction date. Items must be returned in unopened or original condition, with a copy of the packing slip, to our Return Center.

A refund of the price of the item will be issued in the form of credit to the credit card used on the purchase. Please note that this also applies to items received as gifts. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Instructions
Please follow the instructions below when packing and sending your product for return. It's important to note that the instructions below must be followed in order to allow us the opportunity to process your return.

1. Send the item in its original packaging.
2. Pack the item carefully so that it will not be damaged during the shipping process.
3. Include a copy of the packing slip. We will not be able to process a return for any shipment received without a packing slip.
4. Use a secure shipping method to send the item so that it can be tracked. We are not responsible for items lost during shipping, and cannot process your return until the item is received.
